Track TB-500 with Pinnacle Pulse

First, the name, since half the forum arguments start there. People use “TB-500” and “thymosin beta-4” as if they meant the same thing. They don’t. Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein your own cells make. TB-500 is a product name, and when the doping-control lab in Ghent took one of these products apart in 2012, what they found was a seven-residue piece of thymosin beta-4 with an acetyl group stuck on the front. A cousin of the protein, at best.

Your log should be at least that pedantic. Pinnacle Pulse records what you enter about TB-500 (time, site, the amount and unit you type, whatever is printed on the label, your own notes) and keeps it on one private timeline. It won’t tell you to use TB-500, how much, or how often.

Regulatory and anti-doping status · Status as of 16 October 2026

  • EU: No marketing authorization as a medicine; EMA’s medicine data have no entry for TB-500 or thymosin beta-4.
  • United States: Not an FDA-approved drug. Removed from FDA’s 503A “Category 2” list in April 2026 after the nominations were withdrawn, and not in Category 1. In July 2026 FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee was asked to vote on adding TB-500 to the 503A bulks list; FDA staff had recommended against it. Non-binding. No proposed rule in the Federal Register as of 16 October 2026.
  • Sport: Prohibited at all times. WADA lists thymosin beta-4 and its derivatives, naming TB-500, under class S2.3 (growth factors and growth factor modulators). Unchanged on the 2027 List.
  • Identity: TB-500 is not the same molecule as thymosin beta-4. See the first paragraph above.

The log, field by field

Time gets stamped when you save, and you can backdate it when you log late. Amount and unit are free text, so you type what you’d write in a paper notebook and the app stores it as is, with no “corrections” and no defaults. The site is a field of its own, which turns out to be the one people lean on most once they have a few dozen entries and stop trusting their memory of left versus right. The notes field takes the rest: label text, batch number, “forgot to log this, was around 9pm”.

Then there’s the daily check-in: energy, mood, focus, soreness. It takes about as long as reading this sentence twice.

Filters that answer actual questions

Which sites did I log in the last 30 days? Did I write anything down during the week I was traveling? Site and date filters plus search get you there without thumbing through a month of entries.

Tested athletes, read this part twice

If you compete under a WADA-code anti-doping program, TB-500 is prohibited in and out of competition. Labs have been publishing detection methods for it since at least 2012; two of those papers are in the sources below. Logging something doesn’t make it permitted. We’d rather say so plainly here than have you learn it from a results-management letter.

What a chart of your own data can’t tell you

Your entries sit on the same timeline as sleep and HRV from a supported band, your check-ins and your training notes. You can scroll back as far as your log goes.

What you can’t do, in our app or honestly anywhere else, is read cause and effect off a chart of one person’s self-reported data. Our trend views are arithmetic on your inputs and nothing more. They say nothing about what TB-500 does.

Published research on TB-500 as such is thin, and a fair share of it comes from anti-doping chemistry rather than medicine. Three starting points:

Where we stop

We never suggest amounts. No schedules, no stacks, no seller links, no discount codes, no forecasts of what TB-500 will do to your body. A tracker with opinions about what you should take would be a worse tracker, and in most countries a legal problem too.

Your data

Simulations run on the phone, not on our servers. There are no ads and no analytics SDKs in the app, and your data isn’t for sale. Synced logs are encrypted in transit and at rest. Want something gone? Single entries and whole accounts both get deleted from Settings → Privacy.

FAQ

Is TB-500 the same as thymosin beta-4?

No, though plenty of sellers blur the two. Thymosin beta-4 is the full 43-amino-acid protein; the product anti-doping chemists analyzed as TB-500 contained a seven-residue synthetic fragment of it (Ac-LKKTETQ).

Not as a medicine. Neither EMA’s medicine data nor Drugs@FDA list an approved TB-500 product. In July 2026 FDA’s compounding advisers were asked to vote on adding it to the 503A list, but their vote is only advice, and no proposed rule had appeared by 16 October 2026.

Is TB-500 banned in sport?

Yes, in and out of competition. It falls under WADA class S2 as a thymosin beta-4 derivative.

Does Pinnacle Pulse suggest amounts or schedules for TB-500?

Never. Whatever you type goes in as typed, and the app keeps its opinions to itself.

Can I buy TB-500 through Pinnacle Pulse?

No. We sell subscriptions to the app. No substances, no seller links, no affiliate money.
